Scholastic sections open to chess players in grades K through 12. Adult/High School section open to everyone. Students will play in sections by grade level. Most sections will play round robin; high school and adults will play 4-5 rounds, Game/30 Swiss or round robin. Depending on number of entries, sections may be combined. Each section will have 8 to 12 players. Players should bring their own chess sets. Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places in each section. Awards will be presented as each section completes play.
Entry Fee: $3.00 if received by May 6, 2009. After May 6, entry fee is $5.00. Onsite registration is 8:00-8:30 a.m. Play begins at 9:00 a.m. If you register onsite you will be placed in the most available bracket, PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.
