Nebraska Amateur Championship/Nebraska Class Championships

Two one-day events to determine multiple NSCA Champions

Both events to be held at the UNL Cooperative Extension in Lancaster County
444 Cherrycreek Road, Lincoln NE

Play in one or play in both
Open to Nebraska residents, NSCA and USCF memberships required and available onsite

Fees - $10 per event if received by May 20, $15 per event on site, $17.50 for both if received by May 20, $25 if onsite for both

NSCA Amateur Championship, Saturday - May 24, 2008

Open to Nebraska residents rated under 2200
Winner will hold the title of 2008 Nebraska Amateur Champion

4 rounds at game/60 time control - rounds at 9:00am, 11:15am, 1:45pm, 4:00pm - trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, U1500, U1100

Onsite registration available 8:00 - 8:30am on May 24. Later entries may be paired together for first round.

There will be an NSCA membership meeting on Saturday morning at 8:30

NSCA Class Championships, Sunday - May 25, 2008

Section winners receive a trophy and title of 2008 Nebraska Class Champion

Round Robin or Swiss in each class depending on number of participant, G/45 time control
anticipated sections - 1800 and above, 1799-1600, 1599-1400, 1399-1200, 1199-1000,
999-800, 799-600, 599-400, 400 and below, unrated

Onsite registration available 12:00 - 12:30pm on May 25. Later entries may be paired together for first round.
