Nebraska players only may compete in this event.
The top team in each section will be the 2008 Nebraska State Scholastic Team Chess Champion
Must have minimum of 2 players to be a team. Top 4 scores of teammates count towards team total score.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS (not part of a team) ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE!
On-site registration is from 8:00-8:45 a.m. – Advance registrants, please check in by 9:00 a.m.
Advance registrants who have checked-in and on-site registrants will be paired for round 1.
Opening announcements held at 9:10 a.m. – All sections begin 1st Round at 9:30 a.m.
4 Team Scholastic Championship Sections
Senior High: Open to K-12th grade - 4 rounds at G/60, or 5 rounds with 1-3 G/45 and rounds 4-5 G/60
Middle School/Junior High: Open to K-9th grade - 4 rounds at G/60, or 5 rounds with 1-3 G/45 and rounds 4-5 G/60
Elementary: Open to K-6 grade - 4 rounds at G/30, or 5 or 6 rounds with 1-3 G/30 and rounds 4-5 G/45
Primary: Open to K-3 grade - 4 rounds at G/30, or 5 or 6 rounds with 1-3 G/30 and rounds 4-5 G/45
Subsequent rounds will start approx. 10 minutes after completion of prior round. Lunch break will be announced.
Time controls, number of rounds, and other announcements on day of tournament take precedence over this flier
Concessions will be provided by the UNL Chess Club
The Lincoln Chess Foundation will make available a limited number of chess sets for the K-3 and K-6 sections as well as a limited number of clocks for the K-12 section.
Please bring sets and clocks if you have them!
USCF membership is required for all sections except the K-3 Primary section.
(USCF membership may not be required for the K-3 Primary section for those player who have never been USCF members.)
NSCA membership is required for all sections except the Primary
(required memberships available on site - NSCA membership is $6/year, USCF membership is $7 for single day or $17/year)
Advance entries with $9 payment must be received or postmarked by Monday, March 24
Phone or email entries of $12 will be accepted after the 18th but before 10p.m. Thursday, March 27
On site entries fee on the morning of the event will be $15
