There will be a membership meeting of the Nebraska State Chess Association - 7:15am to 8:30am
NSCA members are urged to attend

OPEN SECTION:
4 Round Swiss, Game/60
Rounds at 8:45, 11:00, 1:30, 3:30
Entry Fees: $15 if postmarked by 12/1/08, $20 at site
Trophies: 1st, 2nd, 1st under 1600, 1st UNL student/staff,
The Open Section is a Nebraska POY (Player Of the Year) event and 2009 State Closed qualifier
NSCA Membership required of NE residents - $10/year, $6/year under 20, $12/year family (half year or event also available)

RESERVE SECTION: Open to players rated under 1400 or Unrated

JUNIOR SECTION: Open to players rated under 1000 or Unrated

First round at 9:15. Subsequent round times and lunch break will be posted.
Entry Fees: $10 if postmarked by 12/1/08, $15 at site
Trophies: 1st, 2nd, 1st under 800, 1st under 600, 1st Unrated

PRIMARY SECTION: Open to players in grades K thru 3
5 Round Swiss, Game/45
First round at 9:15. Subsequent round times and lunch break will be posted.
Entry Fees: $10 if postmarked by 12/1/08, $15 at site
Trophies: 1st, 2nd, 1st under 600, 1st under 400, 1st Unrated

Players must provide their own chess sets & boards, footwear is required, wheelchair accessible, no smoking, no computers, no food in tournament rooms

USChess Federation membership required in all sections, membership available on site
Players in Primary Section who have never been USCF members are not required to join the USCF
