River City Roundup Chess Tournament
at the Qwest Center

Non-USCF, non-rated Swiss system tournament played in sections. The Open section is open to players of all ages.  This will be a 4 round tournament at Game 45.  The K-8 section is for students in grades Kindergarten through 8^th grade. This will be a 4 round tournament at Game 30.  Check in and on-site registration for both sections will be 9:00 – 9:30 am.

Open Section will begin at 10:00 with each succeeding round 15 minutes after completion of previous round. Medals to 1^st and 2^nd place and to 1^st and 2^nd place for players under 18.  The K-8 section will begin 10:00 with each succeeding round 15 minutes after completion of previous round. Medals to 1^st, 2^nd, 1^st K-6 and 1^st K-3.  Additional medals based on number of entries.

    Early Registration Fee:  $3.00

    Registration Deadline:  Early Registrations must be received by September 25, 2007

    Registration is $5.00  if received after September 25^th.

--Visit other River City Roundup events and displays.

--Help promote chess to the thousands of River City Roundup visitors.

--Warm-up tournament for the Omaha Scholastic Chess Season and the Omaha Central Tournament to be held on November 17^th.

--Food available on site.
