On site Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
Students will play at grade level and will play everyone in their section.
Each section will have 6 to 10 players. If there are not enough entries, grades
may be combined. Medals or Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places in
each section. Players should bring their own chess sets with Staunton pieces.
First round: 9:00 a.m. The high school sections will play 4 rd, swiss, G40.
Awards for all sections will be handed out when that section completes play.
The Adult/Open section will be non-rated, 4 rd, swiss, G40, Rds: 9:00, 10:15,
11:30, and 1:30.
$2 Entry Fee if received by January 22, 2007; Late registration $5
Exception – Adults, who have children playing in
the tournament, and who themselves want to play in the Adult/Open section, may
play for free.
Enter through the west doors of Gross Catholic High School and follow the
signs.
Concessions will be available.
