Chess Tournament

8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Four round Swiss system, Game 30, with rounds at 8:30am, 9:45, 11:00 and 12:15

There will be a minimum of 4 awards to 1st and 2nd place, and 1st and 2nd under 1400. Additional trophies/ medals will be awarded based on entries. If there are more than 16 entries, the tournament may be divided into sections (for instance Open and under 1400). You will be contacted to see which section you prefer. Please bring your chess sets and clocks.

Current USCF Membership required

Registration Fee: $5.00 if received by November 11th, 2006
After November 11th, registration is $10.00
** Early registration strongly encouraged. **Only players registered and paid by Nov. 17th will be paired for round one. Subsequent entries will be paired for round 2.

Enter the west side of Central High to get to the tournament area. Snacks and drinks will be available at the concession stand. Pizza will be available at lunch.
