PRIMARY SECTION: Open to players in grades K thru 3

A Polar Bear is a chess player who is barelegged from above the knee to the top of the socks throughout the entire tournament.
All Polar Bears are eligible for the special Plar Bear Champion trophies and will receive $3 back at the end of the tournament.

Players must provide their own chess sets & boards, footwear is required, wheelchair accessible, no smoking, no computers, no food in tournament rooms

USChess Federation membership required in all sections, membership available on site
Players in Primary Section who have never been USCF members are not required to join the USCF
