4th Annual Chess Tournament

The Omaha Police Department’s Northeast Precinct Advisory Council along with Creighton University and NoFrills Supermarkets announces its 4th Annual Chess Tournament on Saturday, May 20th, 2006 at Creighton University.

The tournament check-in will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
The objectives of the chess tournament are to:
          1. provide an alternative to physical athletic involvement.
          2. enhance critical thinking skills
          3. provide positive interaction between the police, citizens, and the young people in our community.

The chess tournament is open for students grades 4th through 6th and parental/guardian permission is required.

Advance tournament registration is required, as there will be NO registration at the door.
All registrations are due to by Friday, May 5th at 5:00 p.m. and can be mailed, faxed or hand delivered to the Northeast Precinct Front desk.
