BELMONT CHESS TOURNAMENT

A Non-USCF rated tournament

at the Belmont Baptist Church, 3424 N. 14th St. in Lincoln

Tournament will start at 7:00 p.m. and we want to finish by 9:00 p.m

Entry fee is $4.00 per player.

The Tournament is Open to anyone of any age.
Adults are enouraged to enter.
It is NOT a USCF rated Tournament.

Registration will open at 6:00 p.m to 6:45 p.m.
All Tournament players should be there no later than 6:30 p.m.

Rounds: There will be 3 Rounds.  Time limit is 30 minutes per game (G/15).
A Clock may be put on games lasting over 20 minutes.
Tie break for 1st place in the OPEN section will be by speed games of G/2 if necessary.

Sections: Open Section for anyone and an Under 1000 Section (Unrated players welcome)
An Unrated section may be created if there are a large number of unrated players

Awards:  Trophies will go to 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
1st under 1200, 1st Under 1000, 2nd under 1000, 1st under 800, 1st under 600, 1st Unrated
(Additional trophies may be added)

Prizes:  Each player not receiving a Trophy will receive a prize.
A prize table will be set up and players may choose one prize off of the prize table
in the order of their rank as determined by their wins in the tournament.

Players enter by using their USCF rating if they have one. If they are not USCF members, they are Unrated

You do not need to take notation during the games.   
You do not need to use a chess clock if you do not have one. 
You do not need to be a member of USCF. This is not a USCF rated Tournament.

Food: A Concession Stand will be open.
Sets: Bring your own Chess Set. Bring your own chess clock if you have one.
