Midwest Open format: 2 Sections: Open and Reserve (U1600).
Open and Reserve: 4-SS G/75. Rounds 9-1-3:30-6.
Sections may be combined if low number of entries in any.
Open section is a Nebraska Player of the Year event. (POY)
Midwest Open entry fees: $15 by December 1st ; $20 later. USCF and NSCA membership required. Available on site.
Registration on site 8-8:50 A.M.

The Midwest Open is a qualifier for the State Closed Championship!
The top Nebraskan will qualify for the state championship tournament.

Midwest Open prizes
Open: 100-50-25, 1st Class B, C, & D/E/UNR 25 each. 1st Upset $25. (Based on 20 entries)
Reserve(U1600): Trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 1st U1400.

Misc. Half point byes available all rounds. Must commit before round 1.
Cell phones on vibrate or off during tournament games.
No smoking inside of site.
No computer entries accepted.

AmericInn Chess Tournament

Where: Same as above.
Open to all scholastic age players 19 years of age and younger.
AmericInn Entry fees---$12.00---No advance entries. Registration at site from noon to 12:45 P.M.
Four round tournament---Game/30. Prizes will be announced during the tournament.
