Hastings High Spring Scholastic Open Chess Tournament 2004

The tournament will be held on Saturday 17 April 2004 in the Hastings High School Cafeteria.
Registration will begin at 8 AM and games will begin right after that, so it is important to be prompt.
Lateness may result in forfeiting the first round.

You need to be a high school or junior high school student to participate.
The event should be over shortly after noon.

Please submit your registration form no later than 12 April.
Late registrants will not be accepted.

Registration is free.
Tournament will be 4 or 5 round, G/25 or G/30, Swiss in format and will be unrated.

There will be Medals for the top several players.
It would be a good idea to bring a lunch although the tournament should be over by lunchtime or shortly after noon.
If needed there will be a lunchbreak.

Please bring a clock and chess set if you have one or both.
Doughnuts and juice will be available atregistration.
